The INP file is used by the system to make a rough modeling estimate, but no accurate results are derived.
INP
The INP file is used for hydraulic analysis to identify the scope and detail of a network.
INPFILE Syntax:
# AS $INPUTFILE.$SEGMENT.$SEGMENTNUMBER.$INPUTINFOLENUMBERS
# DISABLING BUBBLES
# INP FILE RULES AND RESTRICTIONS:
# INPFILE SEGMENT(S) must always be placed in the top-level segment.
# SEGMENTS are numbered sequentially starting with 1.
# SEGMENT SEGMENTNUMBER cannot be more than 10.
# THE SEGMENTNUMBER DOES NOT NEED TO BE PRIMARILY
# INTEGER, FOR EXAMPLE:
# SEGMENT $CELLCONNECTOR1/CONNECTIONNAME4/SEGMENT$SEGMENTNUMBER$
# can be used to specify a segment in the NAME field.
# A segment type of "CONNECTION" (not builtin) must be used in the
# SEGMENT SECTION SEGMENTNUMBER. The same SEGMENT
# SECTION can be defined as a (SEGMENT)SECTION in multiple SEGMENTS.
# NOTE: This file is used to generate an initial network and is not
# maintained for use outside of the original network definition.
# By definition, the INP file represents the maximum number of
# connections that can be built into the network.
# The "CONNECTION" SEGMENT type does not exist. Therefore
# segments must be named as SEGMENT$SEGMENTNUMBER.
# The keyword "BRIDGE" is not allowed in an INP file.
# "SEGMENT" is not allowed in the NAME.
# The NAME is the reference in the dataset. A valid name must be a lowercase word.
# The NAME may contain the characters '_', '-', '.' and no spaces.
# Segment SEGMENTNAMENUMBER are in the segment section named
# SEGMENT SEGMENTNUMBER
# Segment SEGMENTNAMENUMBER must be only numeric.
# The SEGMENTNAMENUMBER must be less than the SEGMENTNUMBER a77f14ba26 quytcal
