Use the Edit keymacs button to open the registry key %systemroot%\system32\Keyboard Layout Defaults and adjust any settings for the language of the current locale, and then click OK.
Use the Rename button to rename a macro to a name of your choice.
Use the Rename Macro button to add a new macro.
Use the Add button to add a new macro or to add a keyboard scan code.
Use the Delete button to delete a macro or keyboard scan code from the registry.
Use the Save button to save any changes you have made.
Use the Exit button to close the dialog box.
■ No support for saving or loading or resetting all settings.
■ The mappings can be overwritten when you reload your keymacs settings, so you will need to perform the mapping changes again after the reload.
■ You cannot edit the registry directly from a standalone setup.
■ If you are using Vista or Windows 7, you must have the Keyboard and Mouse Logon user rights in order to use the program.

1. Keymacro is configured to interpret Windows-1252, so you cannot use upper case letters in your mappings. You can only use lower case and underscores.

- Select the key you want to send the scan code to by clicking the To Select key.
- Select the key that will receive the scan code by clicking the To Selected key.
- Use the Shift and Capital keys to toggle between the parameters.
3. Keyboard scan codes are entered by using the Scan key.
You can only use one Scan key at a time.
Keymacro will work with any Keymacs-compatible keymapping program.
If you are using a Mac, you can use some shortcuts:
- Press the Shift key to toggle between the Shift and Capital keys
